i think it's cute that franky calls tama 'otama,' with the wano o- prefix- it's a little thing and not super remarkable all things considered, since some other strawhats do do it also, but it stands out to me here since franky isn't much of an honorifics guy at all. it's just sweet u know.

Chapter 1004 - interesting developments!

A nice, quite calm chapter after the emotional intensity, although how Oda still manages to put in so much is anyone’s mystery.

First off, can I just say how much I love Nami+Usopp? Their teamwork is just out of this world, the two theatrical cowards. I love ‘em.

On the topic of chapter 1004, I was wondering what honorific Daifugo uses to refer to Tama on page 5? The other gifters refer to her later in the chapter as well. The official trans says "master" but I know in Japanese it's probably not that simple

it actually is pretty straightforward! all the gifters who've become loyal to tama address her as ご主人様/goshujin-sama, which can indeed be translated pretty straightforwardly as 'master' (with honorifics on either side of the word that make it more respectful).
