ORIHIME?! I didn't expect her to pull a joke like that! Did she get inspired by Fruits Basket?
Seriously, though, my memory must be worse than I thought, because I keep coming across little bits like this that I do not remember in the slightest.
...What are you up to, Kon?
Don't worry, Ichigo. I'm sure you'll get another crack at him someday.
This really does feel like a parallel to what happened with Kaien. Thank goodness it didn't end the same way.
...
You know what, I'm adding this to my list of AU's to search on AO3 later.
I also thought there was supposed to be a moment where Ichigo got a glimpse into Masaki's last thoughts or something? I guess that was just an addition for the manga, like the weird hat guy they added in.
Safety First: Ch 24 - X is for Xanthic

Happy being Lucy's reality checker
i started reading liang chen mei jin because @renewedmotionforjudgment seems excited for the upcoming adaptation and it apparently features a lot of courtyard drama.
I'm enjoying it so far. I'm only on chapter 24; I've just been introduced to possible villain Ye Xian. And although his initial description does him sum negative favour, i can't help but be enamored by the evil aura. Is it bad that I kinda need him to be the main hero?
