1. I knew that a chapter title page like this existed but I didn’t realize it happened before we saw Sabo as an adult holy shit

2. The note the gorilla is waving says the exact same thing as the one they left at the restaurant they dined and dashed from in their flashback, but written properly in kanji (宝払い/takarabarai) this time instead of being spelled out in the simpler hiragana (たからばらい/takarabarai). It means like ‘treasure account’ or ‘treasure bill.’ So they just straight up have not changed at all.

Started the manga with Hasegawa in a suit...starts final arc with Hasegawa in a suit. Badass as fuck. Sorachi and his parallels are amazing. (*•̀ᴗ•́*)و ̑̑

This is a really important revelation for Robin, because it’s true: before, she was getting stronger just to make sure she survived, but now she doesn’t have to worry about being alone anymore so she can focus on using her strength to help others.

There are so many people that still seem to read Nami’s character wrong and I just want to point them to this panel to show how much she cares about the entire crew and that she wants to learn from the people of Weatheria so that she can get them where they’re going safely.  She’s doing it for other people, so when I read things about how Nami is selfish and that she only cares about money I just have to say how wrong they have her character.

Sabo’s appearance has changed a little bit from this kind of initial design Oda did of his adult self, but this cover page is painful for a multitude of reasons ;____;  I do like the subtle confirmation that Ace’s tattoo was a tribute to Sabo by having his name spelled correctly without the ‘S’ here, though.
