Oh--! OH! OH, I CAUGHT ONTO THIS EARLIER! Kinda! That's what the frog Hollow dude did during the Don Kanonji section! I am so happy that my earlier deep dive into Hollow dispersion paid off!
First glimpse at Ichigo's inner world! I really like the whole sideways aspect--it feels familiar-ish, but still surreal and fantastical! There's probably a deeper symbolic meaning to it being this way, too, but if there is then I'm unable to put my finger on it right now.
I also like the broken glass effect with how Mysterious Stranger's name is censored out! I wonder what this must have sounded like to Ichigo. Radio static? Incomprehensible garble? Just blank silence akin to when the ____ were stolen in Kingdom Hearts 2? (I'm sorry, I have a lot of video games on my mind lately and nowhere near enough free time to get them out of my system.)
