Hi I'm new around here but I've read pretty much your entire blog in one sitting. I thought you would be a good person to ask this but I seem to be very sensitive and get triggered easy when it comes to trauma. I have a few squares and 8th house and 12th house contacts as well Pluto on an angle. Is this normal? At least is it normal for placements like mine? Does this make me weak? Thank you if you do answer. You're so appreciated here <3
Hi Love,
Thanks for reaching out to me. Yes, I do believe this is quite normal. Multiple squares in the birth chart equal exorbitant amounts of inner stress and conflict within a native. There's a lot an individual is having to resolve internally that they are either conscious or unconsciously aware of. 8th House or Plutonic placements as well will make an individual just feel everything to the 37829173862871389219 degree.
12th house contacts I think might be the biggest culprit here- just because it is the house that rules dreams but also nightmares. Fears. Trauma from past lives [kinda like the 8th]. It's a highly sensitive house where murkiness lives and can give people a lot of anxiety and demons to deal with. Especially when planets like Pluto, The Moon, Chiron, or even Lilith sit there. As for angles, those are highly sensitive points in your birth chart and indicate very important themes. When you have a powerhouse/karmic planet like Pluto on one of them, your personality, Inner child/home life, relationships, or career will have a theme of intensity and karma.
Now Astrology Aside...
I just want to say, that the fact that you woke up this morning and had the strength to seek help at all is a testament to the fact that you are not weak whatsoever. It means you are highly self-aware. Trauma is no joke. It's a term thrown around sometimes but there's a lot of gravity behind it. Trauma or traumatic events will literally re-wire your brain. Not figuratively, but on a scientific level. Synapses are broken, pathways shut down. Your cerebral cortex is now having to find different avenues to make things function as before. But sometimes it can't. You are, quite literally, someone entirely different. You just never went to the courthouse and had a name change. When you are triggered, that's your body's fight or flight response. It senses a threat [the trauma from the past] and it is now reacting in order to protect itself. Sort of how ex-military soldiers/veterans hear a car back-fire and react. It sounds like gunfire. They're not on their patio having a barbeque anymore, they're back in the muddy trenches, covered in blood and soot.
You're not weak. You're just a human who's probably been through some raw deals in life. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do now about what's happened to you, it's in the past. But you can do your best to heal from it and ground yourself so your traumas aren't handicapping you from living. Life is short, love.
