I have changed my love. But I could not speak of a new passion till I had told the story of that which has passed away.

to folks who are upset with those who stay active in the lds church: i think the church will continue to exist, regardless of anyone's goals/desires. and that leaves us a problem. because church culture is not always good for queer folk or other marginalized groups. and we need to change that. we need to plant the ideas of inclusion and love for all God's children. maybe we can't fix everything. but the church will exist and it will continue to hurt people unless we change the parts where it is doing the damage. and we can see movement! staying in the church and in this fight to make things better for all the queer kids coming up, for all the people who deserve something better, or even just from a desire to see the church align more with the gospel, isn't just a valid choice. it is an exceptionally brave and high-impact choice.

Changing Hearts, Chapter 30
"Hello Peter,” Mr Johnson greeted him in a friendly manner. “I know it's been forever since we spoke on the phone and believe me, I've tried to get them to look at your art a lot earlier, but you how they are, don't you?”
“Yes,” Peter replied. He just wanted Mr Johnson to tell him whether they would do it or not. He wanted to get it over with if this was going to end in disappointment.

I've read it and I like it ! Your style is smooth and enjoyable (I think a few commas are missing but no big deal). I'm looking forward to the next chapters, you can't leave Peter startled like that :c Thank you for writing this fanfic !! <3<3
Thank you for this comment (yay, I can finally reply to comments again!!!). Commas are often a problem for Germans because we use them literally everywhere in German and when I write and proofread my English fics (I’m not a native speaker) I tend to delete half of them cause I feel they are redundant XD I should probably look up the rules at some point.
But I’m glad you’ve enjoyed the first chapter so far and yep, that was on hell of a shock for Peter. It’s gonna take him a few chapters to recover ;)
The Words That Will Never Die
“Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.” — Jesus (Luke 21:33, NLT) Empires crumble. Languages fade. Even the mountains wear down. But the words of Jesus? They remain. He spoke them on dusty roads in Galilee, to fishermen, tax collectors, children, and religious scholars. Words of love, truth, warning, and invitation. And then He made this bold claim: “Heaven and…

A Change of Heart
We can believe anything into existence,
even if it only exists within our minds.
This goes for all things, “good” and/or “evil.”
But know this, if I am not acting in an evil manner,
treating someone evil or with evil intent,
or doing something evil or with evil intent,
I will not tolerate any person’s judgment
that I or what I do, am/is evil. Period.
Please do not waste your time.
Especially if…
