Day 21 Sarcophagus
I did the sarcophagus of the "Chantress of Amun-Ra: Nehemes-Bastet". This one has the most detailed images and icons on her tomb, plus you can see Asaur, Heru, and Aset near the bottom. I only did half but I might do a full one later on. But she is stunning!

So BHVR is hosting another cosmetic contest! I didnt participate last time, so I thought I would do one this year. I originally drew one for Spirit, but she gets cosmetics all the time. I wanted to do one for Vommy Mommy and show Plague some love. You can view my post here:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/142716/plague-egyptian-chantress-by-jollykins#latest
I’ll post my other concept of Spirit in another post. I have no chance of winning but I like participating, it gets me up to draw ^-^<3

Period: Third Intermediate Period–Late Period
Date: 1070–600 B.C.
Place of origin: Egypt
Medium: Bronze or copper alloy
We may be known for our dinosaurs but Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh’s collection actually began with Egypt. Purchased by Andrew Carnegie, the first object accessioned (acc. 1-1) is a Dynasty 21 Egyptian coffin that belonged to a chantress of Amun, who was probably a temple singer.
Before the coffin was sealed, a floral wreath made of woven leaves, grass, and flowers was placed across the mummy’s chest. Such wreaths are important in the study of ancient Egyptian flora.

Ask a Scientist: What was the first object in the Carnegie collection?
Assistant Curator of Science and Research Dr. Erin Peters discusses the museum’s very first item, which is currently on display in Walton Hall of Ancient Egypt.
Ask a Scientist is a new short video series where we ask our research staff questions about the millions of amazing objects and specimens stored in our collection. Tune in on YouTube, and submit your own questions via Twitter @CarnegieMNH.
❛ i might ease your wound. ❜ - from @chantres
there was an uneasiness in the air between them as hand presses at a wound. it's wet with crimson that even from the god of thunder is unimaginable, for what can harm a god, but another god, or god killer? the faint whispers are out there of a man of a twisted eldritch horror wielded with an ability to slay that of gods. a tale that neither he cared to admit was his problem for what is to him when you're one of the few survivors of an extinct pantheon. the golden grace of asgard has long lost it's luster had it not? the enchantress isn't a sight he wanted to set his gaze upon today it's a stark reminder of what he once was, of a time that once was, and would have never been. thor has to wonder if she sees his father inside him, despite how long that the raging tempest inside him has longed to return to a mild thunderstorm, but perphaps his losses and failures hollowed him out. bringing him to this very moment where her magic could finally do it's work. ❛ you could. . . but when were we ever so predictable dear amora? or you can weave a spell so powerful you may just be rid of me. ❜
if amora was wanting a fight then she wouldn't find one here not in his state. a sad state of affairs for the all-father. stormbreaker can be called in an instant as could the bi-frost, but that would only bring her along with him. ❛ we're far from the halls of asgard these days. ❜ when he speaks how much of odin comes out in him, does he have his mothers eyes soft and warm, or a cold heart that not even the hottest flames of mushphelhiem could melt, and yet all he can muster is one question. ❛ what do you want amora. i don't have a lot of time. ❜ he was lying but he really didn't think it was to patch up what he thinks is a mere scratch, but he was far from even midgard. how often he found himself away from the place that he just couldn't be away from once upon a time, for the place he was running from was asgard.
