Thoughts on X Drake #1
So I‘m cure writing a fanfiction with this guy, so he is a lot on my mind lately. And I‘m trying to understand his moral code.
And I‘d like to know if I’m on the wrong track or if it makes sense to anyone besides me. Maybe it was said a hundred times before and I just missed it.
But:
Back On Minion Island his Father’s said he is tough but a coward.
And in Wano he acts like a lot of things are below him, or his presence would be over the top.
Like when he and Page One have to find the ominous Soba cook or with Hawkins in the bathhouse (tbh, he probably wanted to skip this because he can’t handle barely dressed women)
But I think his reasons are the same in all of these three scenarios.
It was neither cowardice nor arrogance.
He didn’t want to.
Why?
Drake wanted to become a Marine as a kid. Bering a pirate with his father probably didn’t sit right with him. I mean, he was probably scared of Barrels, since he mistreated him. So he was afraid to openly rebel against him but he was most likely holding back in battle or reluctant to engage.
And in Wano he was undercover. He did what ever was necessary, to keep his cover and get a reputation and a good position among the Beast Pirates, so he could gather as much intel as possible.
So He did whatever was necessary, (like raiding Amigasa village) but not more. He didn’t want to terrorize people more than he already had to.
At least that is what I think. I think he is actually not that bad, I mean, he seemed kind of friendly with Corby.
Zoro’s predatory smile 😳
This is from the preview of the next episode - EP 932
Little bonus: him in the manga (chapter 936):
so did everyone in North Blue read the Sora Warrior of the Sea comics??? or is the Supernova generation just full of dweebs???
One piece - chapter 936
EEEE LOOK AT LUFFY BULKING UP, HE LOOKS SO BADASS, what a comeback!!! Are you kidDING?! I was so obsessed with this chapter so many awesome things happening wow
Dying @ Sanji, he really was where we all thought he would be but somehow I’m happy about this interaction, it’s not the most wholesome dream but I’m glad mans dream did come through, that past was rough sanji deserves good things
Also I love that Drake is from the North Blue as well & instantly recognizes Stealth Black like how cool is it they were all into this popular comic growing up? Very clever planning having all the North Blue kids together the same place Sanji reveals his raid suit
And last but not least, Zoro ??? Is collecting weapons ??? this epic battle, Hello?!! I can’t wait to see what’s gonna come of this, WANO IS LIVING UP TO THE HYPE THANKFULLY, BIG YES
Law debió pensar mejor sus palabras 😭
If Luffy says that Queen is a good guy - then Queen is a good guy.
Even if he doesn't want to.
Drake faint when he sees naked women Meanwhile Hawkins doesnt’t give a shit when he accidentally made Nami disrobed
Cousin headcanon (based on their prototypes are cousin): Hawkins keep teasing Drake about his weakness after the incident. Couple headcanon: Since Drake not being able to handle a woman’s body, he should marry a man (or stay virgin forever, that sad!) and guess who doesn’t have interest in woman? Who has got along with him since the beginning of Wano Arc? Who comes up immediately to see if he was fine?
Duh...
