Open-faced Male (50-55) wanted for estranged father/daughter plot on @wethenorth

Not long after Sam's mother Deborah graduated from college, she met and fell in love with Robert. The only problem with this was, Robert was a married man. Nevertheless, Robert was drawn to her too and they began an affair. Things only got more complicated when, a few months later, Deborah found out she was pregnant with twins. When she told Robert, he was at a place when he was starting a family with his wife, and therefore decided he didn't want to be involved with her or her unborn children going forward.

Deborah went on to raise their twins (Sam and her bother Lucas) as a single mother and gave them a good life, in spite of difficulties such as Lucas getting bone cancer at 14. Cut to 2020 and Sam, after carrying the hurt of feeling rejected by her father for most of her life, wants to find him and understand why. So she goes looking for Robert. How will he react to his past showing up at his door? And how will he feel when he finds out his son is terminally ill?

I'm honestly pretty flexible on this ad. Suggested faces are Jason Beghe or Chris Meloni. But if you have another great suggestion I'm all about that too.  He would need to be caucasian to fit Sam’s enthnicity. Why he made the choices he did, and what happened in his life after breaking up with Deb is totally up to you. Maybe he ended up having kids with his wife? I'm totally up for seeing Sammy have some half siblings!
