Blurbs for Li’l Petey and Cherrie for the Blazing Glory AU!
Li’l Petey
Once again, Li’l Petey is an orphan! Though this time he's not alone on the streets. No, this time, he has his unofficial foster, Cherrie, to take care of him, though he doesn't live with her. He's a bright and loving little kitten who wants to see the town go back to the way it used to be. Before the death of Deputy Knight and the early retirement of Sheriff Clarence Bailey. Before Dog Man completely took over the town. When the town was lively and filled with hope and wonder rather than the bleak, strict, and often chaotic nature that it has become. He loves Dog Man! Don't get it twisted, but he knows that the canine is only tearing himself and the town apart with his strict nature. Maybe it's time for someone else to step in and take care of the town! And maybe the one to do it is that tall tabby everyone keeps talking about. Everybody talks about him, so surely he's a good man who could do what needs to be done!
Other facts: More of a troublemaker but still sweet and kind, has brown stripes instead of black and the tip of tail is brown, lives in an over crowded orphanage but is rarely there.
Appearance: Mango orange fur with deep bronze brown stripes, emerald green eyes, and a patch of brown circles his right eye and spreads to his right ear. He wears a forest green, long sleeve button-up shirt tucked into dirty blue jeans, a dark forest green bandana tied around his neck, and dark brown cowboy boots. He’s usually covered in little cuts and scrapes from getting into trouble. Also almost always has a bandage around the bottom section of the tail just before the tip of it, again a result from his troublemaking. He stands at 3 foot even.
Cherrie
Local saloon girl with a sassy attitude and a fiery temper. She's one of Dog Man's best friends and does her best to keep him in check, especially since he's taken over. She is one of the few who are worried Dog Man is taking on too much responsibility and wish for him to step down in some regards. Though she fears what saying that would lead to. She also takes care of Li’l Petey temporarily and is the bridge between Petey and Dog Man later on. Cherrie may be fiery, but she's got a good heart and will stand up for herself and those who need it most. She cares for wounded inmates and others in the town or who pass through on the side. Cherrie truly is a gal of many traits and wants nothing more than to see the town find peace and a sense of wholeness like it once had.
Other facts: Was once homeless until Dog Man helped her, is one of the few who calls Dog Man Greg, carries a feathered fan instead of wearing a feathered boa/only wears the boa while working
Appearance: White, orange, and black fur in a calico pattern, gold eyes, and light pink scars from her life as a stray on her face/neck, back, base of her tail, and stomach (this one is hidden a majority of the time). She wears a silk dark-purple dress where the skirt is shorter in the front than in the back. The front of the skirt reaches her mid-thigh, while the back reaches just before her ankles, and the bottom of these feature a thick black hem. The sleeves are over the shoulder, cover her upper arms, and have a short drape from where the sleeves end just before her elbow. She’s also wears a black leather under-bust corset that ties in the front and black leather booties with three-inch heels that tie in the front. She stands at 5’8”.
