Kenny Logan's Rugby World Cup Challenge
To mark the first Rugby World Cup since Doddie Weir’s sad passing, Kenny Logan and friends are set to take part in a unique and gruelling challenge from BT Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, to the Stade de France, Paris to raise £555,555 for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
Kenny and supporters will be delivering the match ball to the final Pool B match – Ireland v Scotland, as well as raising important funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation to support their fight against Motor Neuron Disease.
Click ‘Keep Reading’ to find out more about the challenge ahead.
Helix Park, home of The Kelpies.
There's more than just the Kelpies at The Helix, the park covers some 350 hectares (860 acres) and includes, woodland, wetlands, a large bairns Adventure Zone playpark and Splash Play area, oh and the big horses heads, called The Kelpies.
The Helix is all part of The Millennium Link is the biggest engineering project of it's kind to be undertaken in Scotland.
The project restored the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals to their former glory, linking the West and East coasts of Scotland with fully navigable waterways for the first time in over 35 years.
The Forth & Clyde Canal is the world's first man-made, sea-to-sea ship canal. The other main part of the Millennium Link is The Falkirk Wheel, which I will cover during one of my walks before the end of the month.
There plenty of walking routes to keep you occupied, not just in The Helix, but adjoining areas, I will post more pics later.
Todays walk was part of my Charity Steps challenge, today was day 13 and I have done a total of 192055 steps of the 300,000.
The charity I am doing this for is Maggie's Centres and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps.
Maggie’s offers the best possible support for free to anyone with cancer. Anyone can visit a centre or join the online community. We help people take back control when cancer turns life upside down, by helping to provide professional support for anything from treatment side effects to money worries. Family and friends can visit Maggie’s too. Maggie’s story A mother of two children sits with her husband as the consultant tells her that her cancer can’t be cured. They are moved to a strip-lit, windowless corridor of the hospital to process this devastating news. This was Maggie Keswick-Jencks at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh in 1993. She and her husband Charles discussed the need for somewhere ‘better’ to go, outside of the clinical environment, but still nearby. The very first Maggie’s opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and there are now 23 centres in the UK and three overseas.100% of your donation goes directly to the charity.

February Writing Challenge - The Loveland Foundation
I was trying to determine what charity to give to in February and after looking around for a bit, I decided that in honor of Black History Month, I would give to the Loveland Foundation. The charity is focused on helping Black women and girls obtain access to mental health resources.
According to their website:
Loveland Foundation is committed to showing up for communities of color in unique and powerful ways, with a particular focus on Black women and girls. Our resources and initiatives are collaborative and they prioritize opportunity, access, validation, and healing.
You can find out more here.
My goal is at least $50: that’s four chapters of a WIP and one short-story. Work is picking up a bit of steam, so I’ll need every bit of motivation I can get to power through, but I’m excited!
Let’s do this!
Hey all,
I’m doing a 20 day Crunch4Kids Challenge, hosted by RedKite, and it would mean the world to me if you could “sponsor” me.
RedKite is helping children, young persons, and families who are impacted by the diagnosis of cancer, they share proceeds amongst retreats for families, equipment for those that need it and, of course, research towards a cure.
Head to this link right here and donate a dollar, or ten, or fifteen, or a hundred if you’re digging it! Remember, this is in AUD so, the conversion’s gonna work in your favour.
I know that now is not a great time for the world; whether you’re keeping to your ISO rules or without work due to COVID, but could you imagine if you or someone you loved was going through the diagnosis and treatment for cancer?
Thank you
love & happiness to you all xx

I won’t add the name as not sure she would want me to, but thanks to MK for the £20 donation to my fundraiser.
I have under 15,000 steps to complete the 300,000 for March and have sort of ran out of places to go. The weather has also turned, I have one place in mind and will wait until the rain stops before venturing out again!
If you would like to make a wee donation to my charity challenge go to my Facebook page at the link below, or as MK did make a donation through my Paypal, with my email [email protected], every little bit helps and all the money goes to the charity
