Ghazal | Urdu Poetry Vaqt ⌛
Khaamoshii zabaañ kii davaa ho jaise, dard zindagii kii sazaa ho jaise. Ishq naaraaz hai yuuñ kashish se, chashm aansuuñ se khafaa ho jaise. Haal kaisa yalgaar-e-vaqt* kaa, vaqt Khuda se bhidaa ho jaise.
( yalgaar-e-vaqt* = Attack of time ) Viiraan padii hai prithvii kaii dinoñ se, kabhi insaan nahiiñ janmaa ho jaise. Shahr kaa ‘aks’ yuuñ dhundhlaa huaa, qahr se qaafila mitaa ho jaise.
