Morgott going to pieces over the most basic touches 🥺 he didn’t know how different being touched by someone else would be and now seeing to himself pales in comparison.
Scratching at the base of his tail may as well be an off button with how fast his knees give out. Straight up scruffed kitten reflex. The tarnished takes every opportunity to dig his fingers in to the fur, just to see his huge monster boyfriend go weak
he deserves the best, and he'd probably go insane if his tarnished helps bathe him to clean out all that matted fur. the true boss battle along the way is convincing morgott to allow that in the first place, though...
but fr, morgott would be a whimpering mess and would probably need breaks because he'd be so overstimulated from all this sudden touch. like the tarnished would have to balance between it feeling good and giving him moments to himself aaaaa
youd end up with a very subconsciously happy purring morgott but who is suddenly also outwardly acting very stern because he cant believe he made those noises and collapsed like that...
Morgott being so up tight that as soon as he realizes he has one (1) extremely common kink (breeding) he goes to Mohg and bemoans how he’s turned in to some sort of pervert while Mohg absolutely doesn’t let him know what he and Varré were up to about fourty five minutes before (some sort of bacchanal of carnal pleasures that would make Morgott drop dead on the spot)
Mohg wants so much to be supportive, because Morgott talking about things like this at all is a miracle, but internally, he's screaming.
He has to repeatedly stop himself from mentioning how that's an extremely common kink, there's no shame in it.
Now, what he and Varré were doing earlier on the other hand-
No, nope, shut up, Mohg. You'll send him into cardiac arrest. Be a good brother and do not give Morgott a heart attack.
Meanwhile, Morgott has kept rambling and pacing, never noticing Mohg has become the Omen equivalent of this
Not to dive too much in to the social commentary of Elden Ring but I think Mohg is designed as he is to make us reflect on how someone’s looks can affect our opinions on them and how people are quick to assume the worst of conventionally unattractive people while turning a blind eye to sins by someone conventionally pretty. I think the goal here is to say that a victim can be scary looking and a predator can be beautiful. The halo effect is real.
Also how tf is he boring??? Ansbach is so noble and kind and he chose to follow Mohg and even after Mohg was dead he laid down his life to protect his lord’s body from desecration by one of the most frightening and insidious people in the game. If someone like Ansbach is willing to go to this extreme for someone we can only assume they mirror his high standards. This calls in to question exactly how much of what we saw of the Mohgwyn Empire was actually the result of Miquellas influence. It is stated that the blood sacrifices were ‘for Miquella’ and it seems that the change between Mohg before and after the charm was noticeable and dramatic enough that outsiders assumed he had a sudden mental break.
While I don’t think we will ever get a clear canon answer on the original values of the Mohgwyns and who Mohg was before the charm we can use context clues to say he was honorable, protective of his own and charismatic enough to gather a following.
Fromsoft has played with the idea of monstrous but gentle characters before so why should Mohg be any different.
Yeah, I do honestly wonder if that was the intention -- after the DLC I'm almost convinced that it was. But it's an entire debate in and of itself whether or not it worked TOO well, with people still insisting Mohg was the absolute worst.
I keep thinking of the immense catharsis a lot of people felt in slaying Mohg. And I think it's catharsis people don't want to let go of. They don't want to entertain the possibility that Mohg might not have been the monster everyone perceived him as.
The same can be said of Miquella as well as the opposite. People will say Miquella is an embodiment of pure evil while others say that he is a figure that holds nothing but goodness in his heart. All the while, those who petition for Miquella's goodness more oft than not always point how Mohg is pure evil for a variety of reasons.
It's a sentiment shared from people who loath Mohg(Normally Miquella fans who see him as pure evil), or love a specific idea of Mohg(those who saw an appeal for a character who was pure evil). And the DLC let them down in that regard, prompting a lot of straw grasping as to why Mohg deserved his fate and why Ansbach is secretly evil. As well as arguing on why Miquella's charm isn't Mind Control, and why some of us who are more sympathetic toward Mohg lack media literacy. 🙄
I wish we did know more about Mohg... But I honestly do like to believe that he was, as you described: Monstrous in appearance, but gentle at heart.
I love a good subversion. And I'm still happy he beat "the allegations" quote-unquote.

#prev#no really#Morgotts tail looks like a scorpion stinger#especially when he’s using it to whack you off his boss arena with it
Man, I remember coming up with this headcanon for my Tarnished, Schel -- basically when she first came to the Lands Between, she'd never really seen anyone like Margit before? So when she first saw him, the first thing that came to mind was "Manticore."
Just leaving these here so we all can appreciate the best behind in the business
his ass is actually insane.. how does he carry it around??? i wanna be his chair so bad
So imagine if Mox really did show up last night.
The joy in Romans eyes, he’s back!
Until Mox puts his hands on Roman, saving Cody. The heartbreak of realizing that Mox isn’t there to help Roman, he’s there to end him…
I don’t think Roman would even fight back
Oh god, that would have hurt me. Roman would be so heartbroken if Mox had come in to help Cody. 🥺
But can you imagine... them meeting after that betrayal. Mox saying he had to do it because this isn't the Roman he knows or the Roman he fell in love with (and it could be the first confession, both of them hid their feelings and moved on when Mox left. Knowing if either of them said something, it would make things harder). 😵
Oh god, I'm getting back in my feels.
So we have discussed Tribal Chief Roman X Big Dog Roman. But what about Architect/Shield Seth X Seth Freakin’ Rollins?
Because while the Tribal Chief might want to comfort his younger self, Seth wants to actively make him worse
Thank you for reminding me that I need more TC Roman/Big Dog Roman. 😜😜
But yesss, Seth Freakin' Rollins would absolutely make Architect Seth WORSE. Can you imagine him kneeling to current Seth? Hmm... a good drawing idea would be past Seth kneeling in between current Seth's legs while a hand is running through his hair. YES, HELLO. 😵
