Shiitake boiled in soy sauce inspired by the Monk chef's table 3.
If you’ve got Netflix, there are many great documentaries/shows out there about food. Here are some that I have watched and would recommend (note: these are links toward information about the shows, not direct links to Netflix):
· Hungry for Change
· Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead
· Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead 2
· Fed Up
· Chef’s Table
· Food, Inc
· TED Talks: Chew on This
Some of them are similar, while others are not related at all, but I have found all of them helpful in this journey of learning more about past, present, and future of food. Is there anything else I should be watching? My next step is to pursue more literature as I am running out of Netflix shows (although I could listen to Dan Barber talk about sustainable farming all day long).
