ChellMann Week Day One: First Meeting

The noise startled her first, and it took a second for the deer to catch up. The sound was cold, mechanical, sharp. It was out of place here, on the surface. With her knuckles turning white and the metal of her bow digging into her skin, she moved toward it. No machinery greeted her at the meadow. There were no glowing eyes and no rattling voices -- only a man sleeping in the grass. An astronaut, lost.

Thank you. I don't know. Kind of, sometimes. I had been drawing them a couple days before you sent this ask and I was hoping perhaps those drawings would turn out by now but haven't yet, so... Well, here's a redraw I did a while ago of the first picture I drew of them together.
