Bunny comes in late the next morning. Since she has been discovered, there is no reason to keep working at Paris. But Boss has other ideas. "Really? I have somewhere to go. Can you come with me to discuss?"
Boss "By the way, why are you quitting the salon all of a sudden?" Bunny "Actually... there's something I lied to you about." Boss "Lie? What... that you're a girl and not a guy? Bunny, did you think it was by chance that you started working at Paris?" Bunny "What are you talking about?"
Boss takes Bunny to the mountain where she was saved by a gumiho . That gumiho was Boss. She wants to help Bunny just like she did 16 years ago. Boss read Bunny's gumiho story and it described her very well. Bunny is half human and half gumiho just like in her novel. Boss is her mother.
Bunny goes home to process what Boss said "You're Gumiho but before you're awakened you're just like a normal person. But if you're awakened past the age of 20 many things will change. The boss wouldn't lie about such things. Bunny decides to visit Dad.
Jin has another interview and BFF leaves the hospital to go with him. Reporter mentions that he said he didn't have a girlfriend and BFF gets angry and asks if he cares more about his fans than her. He then attacks her in reference to Intern and refuses to listen to her explanation.
Bunny goes to visit her father to learn more about her mom. First she checks Dad out to see if he has aged and gives him octopus to eat. Then she asks if her mom really died. He tells her that Mom left them shortly after she was born. He didn't want to tell her until she was grown. She asks if there are any pictures and he says he will send it to her if he finds one.
Dad knows something's wrong because Bunny hasn't visited him like this before. He tells her to go back and deal with it. Don't worry about what anyone says. Just do what you want to do. Boss tells the team that Bunny didn't quit. She is on vacation.
Jin goes to buy flowers for BFF and apologize. But when he gets to her apartment, he finds her arguing outside with Intern. Jin hits Intern and BFF scolds him for it. Jin throws the flowers and drives away while BFF collapses in pain.
When Jin gets to the hospital, Intern takes him outsider and punches him. BFF left the hospital for him even though she was really sick. Did Jin even listen to her explanation? He doesn't think Jin is good enough for her. Jin takes the words to heart and leaves without seeing her.
Alex tells Jin to go back to BFF. She needs him now more than ever and she probably has her feelings sorted out by now. Jin takes his advice.
BFF "I'm sorry, Jin. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." Jin "I'm sorry I didn't trust you and misunderstood you. I'm so sorry for everything. I'm selfish, lazy, and not very trustworthy. I know you're too good for me. I'll try my best so I don't feel sorry for you." BFF "No, Jin. You're such a good boyfriend now."
Alex calls Bunny and asks if she is really going to quit. She says that he and Kay are going through so much because of her. He says that's not what matters now. She can quit if she really wants to but don't give up on the exam.
Alex tells Bunny again that he likes her and whoever she chooses, the other one has to leave. He doesn't want to leave Paris or her. He hugs her as Kay walks in. (Alex had texted him so she could choose.) When he sees them hugging, he stomps out.
Bunny bows to Alex and runs after Kay. She says she liked Alex and still does. If she lost him it would hurt. But if she lost Kay she would die. She chooses Kay. He takes her in his arms and then they go to the lake to talk.
Now that Bunny has made her choice, Kay asks for the couple ring back. She left hers at home. He tells her to wear her ring and stay away from other guys.
Bunny tells BFF and Jin she is dating Kay. But what about Paris? She will decide that after she takes the exam.
Kay is waiting for Bunny with his lucky nail file. He used it for the exam and in the competitions he won. Then she shows the she is wearing the couple ring.
Bunny "What would have happened if I hadn't seen you last night? I'm glad Alex called you. If he hadn't, it would've ended completely with a 'bye bye'." That upsets Kay and he says to go inside. (Apparently she had chosen Alex but changed her mind when Kay showed up.)
Kay "Why did you send me this text last night? I thought it'd be good for both of us to clear things up quicker." Kay "Beanie said if you hadn't called me, the relationship would've completely ended. Why did she say that?" Alex "Anyway, Bunny chose you. I'm going to study abroad in America. I talked to the boss and I already booked the ticket. I'm going this coming week. If I stay here, it'll take longer for Bunny to go back to you."
Bunny wants to know why Alex gave Kay a chance when he knew she had already chosen. "Honestly, I kind of wanted you to stay here with me and not go after Kay. But now I'm glad you didn't. I want you to follow your heart and be happy. That's what I want most."
"So... I want to give you a gift before I go. What do you say? Will you take it? I made this design just for you. It's one of a kind. Do you like it?" Bunny "It's so very pretty. Alex "By the time the manicure is gone, all that happened here will have become a beautiful memory."
At the hospital, Jin calls Reporter. "Reporter Kim, this is Jin from Paris. About the part where I said I didn't have a girlfriend... yes, can you fix it so that I'm in a relationship with the hottest girl in the world? Yes. Thank you." Then he stops Intern in the hall and tells him he's never giving up on BFF so he should find another girl."
BFF loses consciousness and her blood pressure drops from internal bleeding. They can't do surgery until her vital signs stabilize. Bunny takes her hand and the gumiho powers kick in. Suddenly the blood pressure rises and they rush BFF to surgery.
If you're awakened past the age of 20, many things will change. First, you will get a strong healing power and the ability to foresee the future. And your biorhythm will become different from normal people. (Message from Dad: Like you asked for, this is a picture of your mom.)
How is this possible? Why are you standing in my dad's wedding picture that's more than 26 years old. Are you really... my mom? The day you got lost in the mountain you went out from the house to follow someone. Don't you remember? Can you forgive your mother? I didn't want to leave you. Bunny "Though I can't agree with everything you're saying, you told me earlier that you're helping me just like you did 16 years ago. I'll believe that." Boss "Actually, I'm going into a long hibernation soon. Since I'm completely awakened as Gumiho, there's no way to avoid it. But before I do that, there's something I really want to tell you. So you don't have to live the way I did. In the novel, you described them as helpers and hunters. I wanted to help you meet the hunter so you don't have to live as Gumiho forever. Bunny "Are you saying that Alex is really a helper?"
"You never know who's the helper and who's the hunter. But even if you chose the wrong man and live your life as Gumiho forever as long as Alex is next to you, you will never feel lonely. Alex is also half Gumiho like you."
Meanwhile, in the novel, "The show is over. I had no other choice. It's done. It's all over now. Everything is over." Bunny Gumiho "Why are we here?" Alex Gumiho "I'll show you who I really am now." The story is open-ended.
Six years into the future, Bunny is the Boss and Paris has new guy nail artists. Alex is back from America. Jin and BFF are in Japan working in another nail salon? And Bunny and Kay have a little gumiho daughter whose eyes glow red when she communicates with the cat. Drama Fever
