♡ I'd say they'd argue a lot actually, due to their maturity difference. Though I feel like it would be quite healthy despite that.

♡ Cheerleader girl x Quiet boy 😊

♡ Ponyboy is obsessed with her hair, one because he hardly sees red-heads, also because he has a red tint to his hair himself.

♡ (Based off book) Ponyboy was so shocked when he realized Cherry had GREEN eyes instead of BLUE.

♡ Very secretive relationship, and it messes with them both. They both can't risk a reputation drop.

♡ Ponyboy was so embarrassed when he got braces, but Cherry found it cute.

♡ Favorite thing they both have is holding hands with each other. And reading books together.

♡ Poetry~ Ponyboy writes her poems and she tapes it to her wall.

♡ Sodapop found out. He caught Ponyboy in the act. He kept their secret, he is the only one who knows, other than of course, Johnny Cade and Marcia.

♡ Ponyboy would hang out with her at the DX, he'd buy her a soda, purposely avoiding the one Dallas tried to give her.

Cherrycade (Sherri x Johnny)🐾🍒

♡ Johnny was so shocked that she even found him interesting. Only Sylvia (Dallas's ex) had found him interesting. And yes, a very private relationship. It's not exactly secretive.

♡ Cherry loves the fact Johnny does art. She loves his art and wants to learn herself.

♡ She reads books to him!! I'd say Johnny can't read that well and she is willing to read aloud to him.

♡ Dallas gaped when Johnny admitted to dating her. He had tried but Johnny got her?! His pride was BROKEN.

♡ Marcia loves teasing them.

♡ Makeup! Johnny lets Cherry test her products on him.

♡ Cherry was shocked how right Ponyboy was about Johnny. How he described him like a kicked puppy.

♡ Cherry lets Johnny sleep in her backyard instead of the lot, since she knows she couldn't let him in without her parents gone.

♡ Johnny lets Cherry do his nails.

♡ Cherry rants about school drama and Johnny finds it the funniest thing ever.

♡ Private rather than secretive, it's know they're dating but they don't make it public as well.

♡ Sodapop fights with Socs often due to it.

♡ The gang were shocked and not at the same time.

♡ Picnic dates!!

♡ Often rants to each other about random things, and GOSSIP. Sodapop loves gossip despite his "charming" demeanor. He doesn't like gossiping too much, but about people he thinks deserve it, he will.

♡ Cherry helps Sodapop bleach his hair.

♡ Sodapop will do ANYTHING to make her laugh. Anything.

♡ They dance to random songs. They both pick at each other's music taste.

♡ Cherry is in love with how lively Sodapop is.

♡ After Johnny and Dallas's death, Cherry tried hard to distract Sodapop from grieving. She didn't like seeing him so down.

Cherrybit (Sherri x Two-Bit)🍺🍒

♡ Two-Bit was known for liking blonds, so Cherry was a surprise to not only the gang.

♡ Not private at all. Two-Bit is very confident about their relationship.

♡ Cherry always is there to scold him while he's hungover (though she had brought him home.)

♡ Two-Bit isn't as interested with Cherry's hair, rather he was more intrigued on Cherry's opinions.

♡ The gang like to explain their relationship like Two-Bit worships her.

♡ Two-Bit steals and gives her anything he thinks she'd like.

♡ Cherry bakes, and Two-Bit CHOWS.

♡ Cherry got to know Dallas better from Two-Bit, she prefers not to talk to Dallas but won't beat him for talking.

♡ Marcia is big friends with both of them, Steve calls it a "love-triangle" even though it isn't that.

♡ Two-Bit got Cherry to try drinking, she holds that grudge. (She didn't like it.)

♡ Marcia was so excited when they started dating. She was already 6 steps deep when she fell into her.

♡ Very secretive. No one knows.

♡ They act still like besties rather than partners, but they did do partner things.

♡ They do EVERYTHING together.

♡ Writes to each-other all the time.

♡ Giving notes in class🤭

♡ Cherry likes to go to shop with her. Marcia knows where EVERYTHING is.

♡ They like to kiss to test lipstick shades.

♡ Marcia loves dancing, so Cherry taught herself.

♡ They draw on each other's arms.

cherry valance who feels secure and safe with sodapop because he isn’t one to drink or smoke (“gets drunk on plain living”) — but when he visits drunk on the anniversary of his parents death, clearly in bad shape, she begins to panic completely at a loss for what to do. she’s never seen him in a state like this, and sodapop curtis being well, sodapop curtis, he kept every emotion bottled up inside until he broke.
