Local high priest in Númenor would like you to give up your children for the lord and Savior, Tar Melkor, but make sure they are willing to join the lord of all. No, this is not a cult.

Something, something, I think it was pretty important for our local cult lead- I mean priest, that sacrifices were willing - correction, I think there were two kinds of sacrifices:

The willing sacrafise, made to believe this was not death but merely a journy to serve Melkor - Mairon would need these to be willing as he would bring them as a form of messanger, maybe even to en extend convincing himself in his delusion that they would reach Melkor.

The unwilling sacrifices would be prisoners of war, criminals, and slaves. These were not meant as messengers, although it was still an honor, not that these sacrifices saw it as such, meant to show acceptance and thankfulness for Melkor, and appease him.

Whoa, I was not prepared for this to be a HC drop, but I started writing this in the tags, and it just felt wrong, so like... here we are, I guess..? only one of my smt smt stayed in the tags XD

Námo & Vairë

Manwë & Varda┃Aulë & Yavanna┃Oromë & Vána

I like to think Námo doesn´t have a physical body, so when he actually wears one, it becomes a blend of what Fëa looks like in the halls and physical materials. He wears jewelry mimicking his own priest and priestess to appear more "real", whereas Vairé´s body is made out of fabric and doll arms, much more visible, "unnatural".

Oromë & Vána

Manwë & Varda┃Aulë & Yavanna

I like to imagine Oromë as something weird in between being close enough with the Eldar to look somewhat like them, yet still be secluded enough to look very off, whereas Vána is the embodiment of youth and likely seeks out interactions as much as possible, trying to be as extra as she can, while still looking like the children - non of them adhere to any of the Eldar´s clothing trends however, as both a to in touch with nature in a whole other way to see the reason behiend it.

I didn´t add flowers to Vána, which I explain here, along with more of her design notes.

Irmo & Estë

Manwë & Varda┃Aulë & Yavanna┃Oromë & Vána┃Námo & Vairë

Irmo is inspired by multiple different butterflies put together. His body is wings wrapped around wings, in contrasting colours. Estë is lavender inspired, as I find them calming, and I am sure I am not the only one who does that. I like the idea of her wearing something below her grey robes, a shout of colourful life, so I chose blue and orange.

Aulë & Yavanna

Manwë & Varda

I headcanon both Aulë and Yavanna as some of the more reclusive Valar. Aulë at least interacts with the Noldor and his students, but that is about that, which I tried to make visible in my designs of them.

I tried to make Aulë a mix between the Noldor and Dwarves, with his beard in greyish skin from the dwarves, and then the braided hair and the ornement holding it away from his face like the Noldor, as well as his white apron. Yavanna´s skin is bark, and her hair changes depending on the seasons, she isn´t interested in "clothes" beyond her form, as she just as easily might walk out of a tree or turn into one. She only really wears jewelry and small bells in her horn like branches because Aulë makes them for her, and in thanks, she makes him flower crowns or bundles.

I was thinking about drawing the oldest grandchildren of Finwë and the company from BG3 but I can't decide which to draw first
