Nienna is aroace to me, but I opted for the purple and green palette rather than the combined flag for this one and the ace palette really came through. Inspired by the luna moth. Now I need to draw Irmo and Námo with moth wings…

I drew canon characters for all of my pieces this week, but I may try to dig up some old sketches to post about a few OCs too if I get the time.

Also. I forced myself to do backgrounds for all of these, and it was definitely good for me but my over-reliance on my leaf brush will be showing.

Manwë & Varda┃Aulë & Yavanna┃Oromë & Vána

I like to think Námo doesn´t have a physical body, so when he actually wears one, it becomes a blend of what Fëa looks like in the halls and physical materials. He wears jewelry mimicking his own priest and priestess to appear more "real", whereas Vairé´s body is made out of fabric and doll arms, much more visible, "unnatural".

New headcanon: dwarf women have beards because Aulë based them on his wife whom he sees as the pinnacle of beauty.

Wings from the Pacific green sphinx moth, some praying mantis inspiration (since I did Vána with orchid mantis, but I need to redo that one still). The green mushrooms are loosely based on parrot waxcaps. Also tried to incorporate the range from trees to "small and secret things in the mold" the Silm references her caring about with the cuffs and fabric patterns :)

This took so long because I'm working on a bigger Owl House project.

She is the Valie of Healing but also associated with Rest, Estë is not considered to be very powerful, but she does have her own unique place in Tolkien’s lore. She is married to Irmo the Vala of Dreams and Visions, and spends much of her time in the Gardens of Lórien with him there.

Out of the Valier, Yavanna and Vána are my absolute favorites. I think it’s my love for nature and the vitality of the earth that draws me to them. I wanted to start with a design for Yavanna! This is just the first version, and I’ll probably make some tweaks to her look later on. Hope you like it regardless. I have such a soft spot for beautiful goddesses, hehe :3
