im not going to ever name my child this but i feel like its a good name combo. when i was a kid I thought those names sounded beautiful together and I still really love the flow. the name also has a great potential for nicknames, which i like a lot, and is hard to twist in a negative way. all in all, this name fits pretty much every category i need in a name. the only reason i wouldnt name my kid this is that i knew a girl named brooklyn and she annoyed me so it gives me bad memories. but someone else, please consider it.

I think we should bring back the custom of child names and adult names. You have the child-name your parents chose for you until you’re 18, then everyone has the opportunity for the next year to change their name for free to whatever they choose going into their adulthood. Naming yourself is about the most empowering thing you can do. Plus, it’ll help with the spate of horrific names stupid people come out with for their kids.
