One of my favorite book stores on earth is Books Of Wonder in New York. It is a jewel, a treasure chest of children’s books past and present. Whenever I walk down West 18th street and see its handsome banner blue waving above the entrance my mood improves vastly. It is as it proclaims; a place of wonder, filled to bursting with exquisite books for readers young and old. The pandemic has put a desperate strain on bookstores everywhere and we must do what we can to help them survive.
