😂 How you feel about society and drinking is exactly how I felt when I discovered I’m asexual. “What do you *mean* people actually have to take cold showers to cool their body?” “Wait, people really look at someone on the street and think I want to get on my knees right now?” I didn’t get it!

haha, I like to joke I'm a mormon without the mormonism... I don't drink coffee, or tea, or alcohol (again: except socially), because I've always been resistant to the idea that there are substances that people willingly incorporate into their lives to the point they NEED it (for example: my siblings started drinking coffee in middle school. I also now have a friend who is literally addicted to caffeine).

I'm grateful for it, because like I said in the podcast: I have an addictive personality! it doesn't happen all the time but I can get obsessive over stuff on occasion, and I guess ultimately I'm glad that I'm not going to do that to substances that could harm me (alcohol) or could just cost me a lot of money and make me dependent (caffeine).

for me attraction is like: I get it, I think I can relate, I love learning and reading and writing and seeing romance, I think about these emotions soooooo much! but then someone's like "so who's your crush" and I go: no you misunderstand. I wish to think about these emotions and feelings in regards to my fictional hockey player lookalikes. I have never once met a real person and thought "I wish to hold your sweaty hand in my sweaty hand and skip into the sunset."
