He notched an arrow, pointing it right at Dionysus. The god went to leap to a neighboring tree, but even in his altered state of mind Chiron anticipated that. Thankfully he missed, the arrow only grazing the god’s side. He winced, crashing into the tree and falling to the ground. He hit the earth with a thud, the air getting knocked out of his lungs as Ichor dripped from his cut waist. Chiron stood over him, a wicked smirk on his lips as he stared down at Dionysus. “What was that you said, little godling? Something about not catching a blind one legged kid?” Chiron mocked, his tone cruel as he took his sweet time approaching Dionysus’s bleeding form.
Dionysus forced himself up on his feet, gripping his side. “Y- yeah.” He panted, his chest still tight from the force of the fall. “I meant it! You just got a lucky shot.” He mocked, further angering the already raging centaur.
