do you think lee sookyung was terrified when she went to prison? unlike her, most of these women there were actual criminals, except for those few who were wrongfully persecuted. i think she put the same mask on she did whenever she faced her abusive husband, and the same mask she donned when her son killed that disgusting piece of shit, prepared to carry an aura of indifference with her for the next twenty years or however long she will be stuck in prison

i think she becomes the leader of the prison even before the scenarios start - because as i mentioned in a previous post, one does not gain this kind of loyalty just by having insight of this new world they suddenly found themselves in. i imagine it must've happened after she published her book; the fact that she didn't cower away but openly shared what happened to her family and what she did must've inspired a lot of admiration in her fellow prisoners, especially the ones' that went through something similar

i do however firmly believe that while yes, lee sookyung gained a large following, the unofficial leader was always lee boksoon. because everyone knows you don't fuck around with an old lady who has Seen and Done things. there's a reason an jung-geun chose her specifically as his incarnation, after all.

i like to imagine that lee sookyung, cho youngran and lee boksoon shared a cell. and they absolutely explored each other's bodies. a sex drive doesn't suddenly die because you don't have alone time anymore. lee sookyung and cho youngran learned a lot under lee boksoon's guidance who's been imprisoned for the longest and thus has done a Lot of things already. at some point she instructs lee sookyung exactly how to pleasure her elder (in years of imprisonment, not age), cho youngran, with her mouth :)

i think i need to open another doc and start another wip which might or might not ever get finished

i am so fucking serious when i say i'd sell a kidney to get a lee sookyung centric side story. i think i really, really deserve to have a lee sookyung centric side story. singshong! listen to my pleas, goddamnit!!!!
