These vegan homemade toffee crisp chocolate bars are a delightful combination of chewy toffee, crispy rice cereal, and rich dark chocolate. They make for a delicious treat that's perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients: 200g vegan dark chocolate. 100g vegan toffee or caramel, chopped. 100g vegan crispy rice cereal. 50g vegan butter or margarine. 2 tablespoons golden syrup or agave syrup.
Instructions: Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Melt the vegan dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth. In a separate saucepan, melt the vegan butter and golden syrup together over low heat. Once melted, stir in the chopped vegan toffee/caramel until combined. Remove from heat and stir in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated. Press the cereal mixture into the prepared baking dish in an even layer. Pour the melted chocolate over the cereal layer, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Place the dish in the refrigerator to set for at least 2 hours. Once set, remove from the refrigerator and cut into bars.
