From Wednesdays to Sundays, 5-10pm in Notting Hill, you can tuck in to this AMAZING Indian food with British chop house vibes. Honestly, I LOVED it here, everything was just so good. The Amritsari crispy lamb chops are their main event, and 4 for £16.50 is an incredible price. They are cooked so perfectly, so soft inside, crispy outside. They are a must-have dish. The black pepper chicken tikka was maybe just as good, in my opinion. It goes perfectly with their tamarind chutney. The black Dahl is also a popular dish of theirs, and 100% needs to be paired up with a tandoori roti. 𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🥩 @danddlondon, a group for some AMAZING London restaurants, have opened their doors again, and I went down to @butlerswharfchophouse last week for a meal I had been craving all through lockdown. Firstly, you won’t get a better view than sitting in their outside seating area, along the Thames, overlooking Tower Bridge. If that’s not enough to set you up for a good meal then I don’t know what is. ☀️ We started with the beef tartare, topped with an egg yolk and mixed with capers, chilli oil, and shallots, on sourdough, which even though is raw it’s creamy and just melts in your mouth. We also got the Severn & wye smoked salmon, which works perfectly with the creme fraiche but overall feels like such a light starter. Chophouse has a mix of mains, from fish and chips to burgers or a pie, but I think you have to pick a steak when you come here. We shared the 600g Chateaubriand and it had the most beautiful perfect crust on it, seasoned really nicely too. Even though the steak itself is amazing, I think it’s their sauces that really make it shine.
