𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🌶 @eatspicebox & @tandoorchop have teamed up for a delicious Veganuary special! This is the Jackfruit Vindaloo Naan. It’s a naan bread topped with SpiceBox’s homemade jackfruit vindaloo, green chutney, pickled onions, pomegranate seeds and crispy chickpeas. Firstly, I’ve never had a vindaloo before so I was sweating in fear about eating something that was going to blow my head off. But it seems like I was sweating more of the thought of it than the actual dish itself. It’s easily enjoyable and not too hot at all, but I think that’s helped out by the pomegranate seeds and chutney. Jackfruit is usually my least favourite non-meat alternative but I love the way it’s done here. It’s cubes of jackfruit that’s almost paneer or lamb-like, I’ve only ever had it when it looks like pulled pork or shredded chicken.
