@chortling-dingo Heyoo, thank you so much!! ;w; I must admit it was kind of exciting, despite my initial mixed feelings!! I actually didn’t have any plans for it at first lmao, besides having lunch at a restaurant with my parents!! But I was actually surprised plenty of times throughout the day haha... A few friends of the family showed up (one of them travelled from very far to stay during/after my birthday aww man, i nearly cried), I was taken to get my ears pierced (like I had been talking about for ages) unexpectedly, and I hung out with my best friend (all my other close friends are either on vacation/in another city or country jhhgdjhjf)!!

In the end I have to say it was really a success, I loved it!! I think the only other plan I have left is to invite my friends out for a celebratory dinner when we’re all back in uni in September. :> Thank you once again for your sweet message!! <3

Do you have any reference pictures of TNER Harriet's hair? Is it just snarly curly? Copious amounts of product gave her ringlets in GoF, but I'm having a hard time imagining the length and messiness of her hair. And this is like my 10th time rereading.

i don’t, actually! i imagine, though, that it’s just a mess of cowlicks. jkr described harry’s hair once in a way that made me think of them. it just grows every which-way. my little running gag is that it’s magic.

i wish the movies had done a better job with harry’s hair, so we could all have something to picture. poa was closest, but otherwise, such a disappointment. (hermione’s hair, too.)

as for the length, it’s between her chin and her shoulders.

So, I've been an FMA fan for a long time now, but I still don't know why Roy and Riza's ship name is Royai. Like, how is Riza's name represented in that?

!! You know, I was to try to explain this with my own words but, when I looked it up I found these two really clear explanations that are pretty straight to the point:

 “The word RoyAi comes from the Japanese characters of 'Roy' and 'Hawkeye' being combined, and the resulting sound is 'royai'.” (x) 

“The 'Ai' part comes from the English transliteration of how Riza's name is spelt in Japanese: "Hookuai". 'Ai' also means love in Japanese.” (x)

I’ve been using “#Avatar Rewatch”. Good question! Might also be a good idea to tag which show we’re rewatching at the time, but that will depend on the context of your post, of course! :D

Man, I swear, with each new episode, I fall in love with the characters and the world all over again, and a little bit more each time. Watching it gives me such a fuzzy feeling, it’s like coming home. ;w;
