Goldenretriever is an amazing ship! Marrow deserves good things in life, and Sun is prime boyfriend material. I pray that if team SSSN puts in an appearance in the Atlas arc, these two start dating.
Also, even just platonically, their dynamic could be so good... because Marrow while deep down Marrow is a snarky anarchist, right now he’s a dog of the military (I’m SORRY). Meanwhile, Sun’s character for the early Volumes was “what crimes can I commit and get away with” and he was completely aware and unashamed of this.
They’re both very good bois regardless.
Fiona/Robyn/Winter
Schneewood Forest or Springthyme? BOTH. Christmasthyme is the perfect compromise. Plus, I love the idea of Winter joining these anarchist lesbians and just learning how to start a revolution. Absolute gold.
Whitley/Oscar
My favorite rare pair. Rich farmers/Snowpines/Evergreen is essentially Drarry, but it’s also self healing and extremely precious. As is, I’m not really comfortable shipping Oscar with anyone due to the presence of Ozpin, but if that weren’t a factor Whitley is my first choice for Oscar’s romantic relationship.
