On this day, a holiday important to the religion I consider myself, at least a few friends always say something insensitive, generalizing and dismissing. Though I know it’s never aimed at me personally, I’m sensitive and it still hurts my feelings.

I hope not to see it from people that are friends, but I know that probably isn’t going to happen so I’ll just post about it here where I know it won’t look like I’m crying for attention.

So to the few here, happy Easter and no matter what you celebrate, I hope your day is beautiful!

We do do these things a lot and it’s so nice to hear them in a positive light because so often I feel like we’re hated on. Never in my life have I had someone from another country call us friendly. They always say we’re loud and obnoxious (not that that’s not true, it often can be). It’s such a relief to hear something else.

I was gonna power through this sewing project since I spent my entire day watching Wrestlemania but I just sewed AND FINISHED a seam... backwards. It is time for bed.
