Chronosasexual
PT: Chronosasexual /end PT
Chronosasexual: a term on the asexual spectrum that describes someone who takes an extremely long time to experience sexual attraction towards someone (usually well over a few months). They also can sometimes “tell” who they will be sexually attracted to in the future, and sometimes take steps to keep that person in their lives. Others who identify with this label may choose to not get involved in any sexual relationships.
Occasionally, someone who identifies with this label may feel that they are chronosasexual because of trauma they experienced, or because of any other emotion-inhibiting experience, but the label is not exclusive to those who feel this way.
Chronosasexual can be paired with other ace-spec identities—for example, someone may be chronosasexual and caedsexual, or chronosasexual and cupioromantic. The label is not exclusive and can be combined with any other label (that doesn't contradict it).
The romantic counterpart to this term is chronosaromantic (link).
The romantic counterpart of the term, chronosaromantic, was coined by wiki user TheAshSystem, on February 28th, by their headmate, Clara. The term chronosasexual was coined by the wiki user Ashkitten101 on March 28th, so as to create a sexuality counterpart to the term.
