Part 1: Asexual Spectrum Identities & Orientations
Here's part 1 of my new series - Asexual Spectrum Identities & Orientations! 🥳🥰
💬 Do or did you relate to any of these from this post (at one point)? Leave a comment 🧡
❓ I hope I could explain everything so that it's understandable, but if you have any questions, let me know in the comments - please be respectful!
💡 If you want to skip the preface, the definitions start at slide 5! But I recommend reading through them ;)
Déistinattractional: a caedoattractional subterm that feels physically disgusting, shameful, revolting and makes one feel extremely guilty and like a creep for experiencing it due to growing up ugly and the trauma and social shame that came with it.

I find it wild that even in the most anti-society groups (the whole A-spectrum, otherkin/alterhumanity, antinatalism, etc.), people will still judge or harass you over...actually not wanting to be near people? Even if a certain percentage of people in either of those communities are like that due to trauma.
Like, what are you actually there for, if you don't have a problem saying the most ableist crap to someone who's been put through horrible things by people?
caederomantic and caedsexual for anon!
reminders for caedsexuals
💙 you're wonderful
💜 you are just as asexual as someone who's always been asexual
🩹 you are not "perpetuating harmful stereotypes" by existing authentically. you as an individual are not responsible for how aphobes view aces.
💙 there's nothing wrong with you. your asexuality is not a problem to resolve.
🩹 but also, it's ok and totally understandable if you need to grieve the sexuality you had before.
🩶 your experiences matter
💜 your feelings matter
💙 your voice is valued
🩹 i hope you heal from your trauma.
🩶 and whether you ultimately stay asexual or not, that doesn't really matter. sexuality is fluid. you're asexual now. that's what matters.
💜 i love you
it's a struggle
love the implication that there are people who shouldn't use this label because they didn't survive those past experiences
