Ben McSweeney: Only the domestic chull has a smooth, shaved shell. The wild chull's shell naturally grows in clusters of fibonacci spirals like a Romanesco cauliflower, which provides both superior protection and fertile ground for rockbuds which the chull groom off of each other.

(quick note, I did get quite a few requests - which is awesome, thank you all - I’d just like those of you who haven’t gotten the art yet and won’t get it for as much as a couple weeks that it’s not that I’m ignoring you, I’m trying to go in order of when I got the requests and post one a day, the art will come at one point, I just don’t want you worrying about that)

I went with the Adolin one for now, and I might draw Pattern later. action eleven was hugging a stuffed animal so I hope this picture of kid Adolin hugging a stuffed animal chull and racing into war on a wooden horse is a good one.

Brandon Sanderson: No, go ahead! That's a good question. I'm thinking of Scadrial (Hemalurgy?).

Brandon Sanderson: Uh huh. If a chull?

Questioner: Yes. Would it have the presence of mind to be able to use the abilities?

Brandon Sanderson: Not as it is right now. But you can see in the way that Ryshadium are working that we have animals that are reaching beyond-animal intelligence. Aviar are the same way. And it is possible to assume that you could get to the point where you could use such powers. But none of them are there yet. But the Aviar kind of use their powers, so I guess some of them are. So, yes, I will say that's possible.
