🤕, ❤️🩹 and 🔮 for Little!Chuuya and CG!Dazai?

hello hello!! ehe thank you!! i don’t think i’ve ever posted little chuuya content but ough… i love baby chuuya… so cute
🤒- They catch a cold! Do they tell their caregiver(s)? If not how do they notice? Do they look after their little one? - chuuya definitely tries to hide that he’s sick, not just around dazai but around anyone! he’s very much someone who wants to be strong around others, and this definitely doesn’t go away when small. unfortunately, dazai is always able to tell if chuuya isn’t feeling well, no matter how well he’s hidden it. one of the biggest signs of chuuya being sick is that he will generally get quieter, but is much snappier. obviously this is very clear to dazai, who always loves to tease his little guy! dazai… kinda sucks at taking care of anyone who’s sick, little or not, but he tries! he keeps easy to make foods around like microwave soup and ramen so he (hopefully) doesn’t ruin it and he spoils the baby
❤️🩹- It's been a hard day, how does the caregiver recover with their little one? - i see chuuya as mostly regressing due to stress and trauma, which means when he regresses he normally just wants to relax. dazai is amazing at this! he’ll build little blanket forts, get all kinds of snacks and drinks, pile all of chuuya’s stuffies, and turn on his favorite movies or shows!
on dazai’s side, he loooooves being with his baby to destress! they have a very similar set-up on days that dazai needs some relaxing time, just cuddling and watching something fun. on days that dazai is really struggling, chuuya turns on his ‘helper mode’! he gets dazai all cozy on the couch or his bed and doesn’t let him move ehe. he’ll bring him snacks or games or even share his stuffies! the only big rule they have set is that chuuya can’t use the stove when he’s being a helper, he’s… not the best chef when small
🔮- Are they a natrual caregiver or did they need to do lots of research? - i dont think dazai is necessarily a natural caregiver in general BUT! the two have so much history and have been with each other long enough that caring for chuuya is basically a second nature at this point! dazai is very good at recognizing chuuya’s needs and wants when regressed (when big too ehe) i do think he does a little bit of research to find ways to make chuuya more comfortable when regressed, such as finding gear, etc, etc
