Darn it, I knew I was going to get myself in trouble one day. Me thinks that THAT day has come. I have never been one to obsess over bags. I don't believe I even own a bag worth more than $60 (luggage excluded). I was content just to have something to stuff my things into. And if I can manage it, I usually make do with my trusty Mickey Mouse pochette, given by Joy B around 2 years ago. I bring this with me everywhere.
Then one day, I came upon a post about this lovely bag on Cecile's blog. I didn't think much of it until the next time she wrote about it. I was mesmerized and got caught up in the madness. I found myself slowly creeping into the Louis Vuitton site to catch another glimpse of the precious thing. The next thing I knew, I was calling the LV shops at Phipps Plaza and Lenox Mall to ask if they had it in stock and how much they cost. $600 something, they said. Actually, they didn't say "something," they gave an accurate amount - it's just that my mind stopped thinking about the numbers when I heard $600. "Not bad ... doable," an inner voice said.
Oh dear.
As if that wasn't enough, I found myself registering at (because I couldn't see the pictures if I didn't) and perusing the Forum of the Purse Blog. The final nail to the coffin.
Told you I was impressionable.

It would appear that it is reversible, although the sales associates I spoke with said that it wasn't meant to be that way. It suits me fine that it is - two bags for the price of one! :)
It comes in three sizes - PM, GM and MM. I don't know which one I'm getting yet (IF AT ALL!). Me thinks I could get the PM since the size is just right for my needs and I can maybe squeeze in a wallet (Alexander) or the mini pochette (para naman mag-graduate na ako from Mickey Mouse!). Double HALA - may wallet pa ngayon!!!
I'd like to think of it as my birthday gift to myself. I'm turning 30, and a little bird told me that I should invest in something valuable to mark the milestone. Buti nga bag lang at hindi Rolex watch unlike someone I know :P (peace, G!)
Goodness gracious, I wonder what will come next ... (if I ever survive this)
