Thank you so much for your kind words, I’m so glad that my photography can give you peace with regards to this time of year. My taking them is also, for me, a process of accepting the time of year, which is so bittersweet for me, as it means a brief - albeit rich, and brilliant - spectacle, followed by half a year of sometimes suffocating silence. But in the mean time, let’s you and me just enjoy the beauty of autumn, and before we know it, the flowers and the sunshine will be back.

Killing off three characters in one chapter was hard. I remember being unsure of it when I originally drafted the fic back in July, but then I never went back to change my plans and then… here we are! Written! Edited! Posted! I can’t believe it’s out into the world because daaaaaang these last few chapters have been tough ones to write.
I know it’s a Bellarke fic, but the Murven interaction on the roof was one of my favourites of the whole fic haha. Their desperation and terror was just so interesting to write. and the angst. ooooo the angst.

Thank you! I agree; 80s music is The Best. When I was growing up, the local radio station played 80s tunes on Saturday nights and so even though I’m not an 80s kid, I still have a lot of nostalgia for that era of music.
I’m still planning on continuing that Murven road trip series… at some point, not sure when.

Also, love that Octavia won 💪💪 And I am all for the extra one-shot of that final show down if you did want to write it. I would eat that angst and drama up. But does Octavia still think they are both dead for real though?? Cause I don't want her alone and grieving them... My girl deserves a break after all that trauma 😭

AHHHHH! They’re alive!!! They get to leave Panem!!! They get to choose their future and how they live!!! They deserve that peace and freedom. I can’t wait to share the little epilogue next chapter.
My girl Octavia!!! I couldn’t wait to share that she becomes Victor! One of my regrets about this fic is that we didn’t get to see more of her in action.
As for if she knows about Clarke and Bellamy’s fates, she doesn’t know. My explanation is a long one. I have a lot of headcanons over this little universe haha.
I feel like the Capitol would keep the truth from her. If she found out Bellamy and Clarke were saved from the arena, she’d wonder why Becca would do that for them. She doesn’t know about District 13, so she would be suspicious why they were saved. She’d start asking questions and then the truth would come out.
The Capitol doesn’t want another Clarke situation, where someone knows the truth. Octavia knowing the truth would be dangerous, because the Capitol wouldn’t have leverage over her to keep her quiet. Bellamy and Clarke would have gone North, so they couldn’t be threatened, and Octavia doesn’t care about anyone else enough to keep quiet over.
Maybe she’ll find out in a while, after she’s out of the spotlight? I always had the headcanon that she’d join Clarke and Bellamy in the North after a few years, but I never decided if she’d find out the truth before then or not.
This was a long answer. Sorry! I had 9 months to think of plot points and headcanons, so I may or may not have a few.
On the topic of a lot of headcanons, I might do a handful of one-shots. Because I’m sentimental. And I refuse to be done with this universe. haha. The Octavia one is on my list, as are a handful of Bellamy and Clarke through the years. Thanks for the feedback!! I appreciate it!

That last chapter is one of my favourites (if not my favourite) of the full fic. It’s so soft and sweet, and it just made my heart melt to write it. I loved being able to write just Bellamy and Clarke together! AND YES writing them happy just 😭😭😭
