happy december cider point residents !! our friends at summer library thought it would be fun to participate in a SECRET SANTA with your fellow neighbors, in hopes of spreading some holiday cheer ! write down your wish list and stick it in santa's mailbox before the deadline to make sure he visits you !

WHAT THIS MEANS OOC: you and your characters are not required to participate, but highly encouraged ! you will fill out this form for each of your participating muses ! you will have until DECEMBER 7 to fill out this form if you would like to participate, and we will do our best to remind you throughout the week in our bulletin board channel ! after the form is closed, we will send each mun the characters they will be gifting, along with their forms !! your character can be as good or as bad at shopping as you wish if they choose to participate ! you will have about a week or so to prepare, and we will give you more instructions when it's time to give the gifts ! if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us !

★ EVENT: open mic night !

✺ DATE & TIME: may 15th, starting at 8 p.m. friday & running until 11 p.m. !

★ LOCATION: rhythm & waves festival grounds !

✺ DETAILS: the owners of the rhythm & waves festival have been feeling nostalgic lately ... with all the recent buzz around town and musicians continuing to flock to town, they figured now was the perfect time for an open mic ! nothing's better than live music with community, and they want our local talent front and center ! our very own hometown musicians will be showcasing their talents, spread between two stages so there's something playing for everyone ! wristbands given upon entry, with bars on the sides of either stage.

WHAT THIS MEANS OOC:

you and your characters are not required to participate in this event, however, it is highly encouraged ! this event will begin friday, may 15th, and last until friday, may 29th. this can be done through normal dash threads, text threads, social media posts, outfit edits, and anything else that your heart desires ! we will have a SIGN UP SHEET HERE if you would like your muse to be a musical participant. this will be closed on wednesday, may 13th. we ask that you tag 'CIDERPOINTOPENMIC', so that we don't miss out on any of the fun ! non - event threads do not need to be paused, but you may feel free to focus on event threads. we hope you all have so much fun, and happy writing ! ♡

❥  EVENT: theodora’s birthday ! ❥  DATE & TIME: october 31, 9pm ! ❥  LOCATION: bianchi farms ! ❥  DETAILS: with a birthday so close to halloween, theodora found no greater way to celebrate than a combined costume / birthday party ! hosted at the bianchi farms, there will also be a haunted corn maze. there will be many pumpkin & apple themed treats, most made by the birthday girl herself. there will be plenty of apple cider ( both spiked and virgin ), as well as other complimentary drinks ! all are welcome, and costumes are REQUIRED for entry !

❅ EVENT: the town's christmas festival !

☃︎ DATE & TIME: dec. 12th - dec. 14th, starting at 5 p.m. friday & running until 9 p.m. on sunday !

❅ LOCATION: the old festival grounds !

☃︎ DETAILS: the town of cider point will be holding it's 70th annual christmas festival at the old rhythm & waves festival grounds. the tree lighting ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. on friday, dec 12th, kicking off the festivities. vendors will have booths set up throughout the ground for all of your holiday shopping needs, as well as craft centers ( snowflake making, gingerbread houses, face painting, & ornament making ), and plenty of places to stop for a bite. don't forget to try out the cider wall, with over 50 flavors from our very own bianchi farms ! check out the ice skating rink on the ground's pond, and enjoy photo opportunities all around, all weekend long, but especially night three as we celebrate our reindeer sendoff with more festive lights than you can imagine !

⋆˚࿔ ciderpointhq boardwalk ball drop !

★ EVENT: the town's new year ball drop !

✺ DATE & TIME: dec. 31st, starting at 9 p.m. wednesday & running until 1 a.m. on thursday !

★ LOCATION: the boardwalk on ocean avenue !

✺ DETAILS: the town of cider point will be holding it's annual boardwalk ball drop at the harbor. the event will begin at 9 p.m. with various stations for games like cornhole, giant jenga, connect 4, and more. vendors will be ready to serve food & drinks, just make sure to get them before midnight ! at 11 p.m., the countdown to 2026 will begin, and boat owners will begin sailing the harbor in preparation for midnight ! once the ball drops, the town will celebrate as a whole. some residents like to jump into the harbor as the clock strikes, while others prefer to enjoy the light show from the docks. either way, come on out and ring in the new year the cider point way !
