perhaps  she  should've  remembered  who  she  agreed  to  go  out  with,  because  he's  at  her  door  FIFTEEN  MINUTES  before  he  said  he'd  pick  her  up.  she  unlocks  and  opens  the  door,  hands  immediately  going  back  to  put  an  earring  in.  smile  widens  as  her  eyes  meet  his.  “is  it  seven  already  ?!  i  started  getting  ready  early,  i  swear  !”  hopefully  he  wouldn't  mind  waiting.  “i  really  shouldn't  be  much  longer,  you  can  wait  inside  !”  she  turns  to  head  back  to  her  room,  only  to  immediately  turn  back  and  point  a  finger  at  him.  “but  you  have  to  take  your  shoes  off  before  you  come  inside  and  put  some  slippers  on.  HOUSE  RULES,  sorry  !  there's  a  rack  of  slippers  right  there.”  she  turns  and  actually  makes  it  a  couple  of  steps  before  turning  once  more.  “and  when  you  say  layers  …”  she  looks  him  up  and  down.  he  looked  quite  bundled  up.  “the  more  the  better  ?”

𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: BEATRIZ'S  APARTMENT,  ELECTRIC  AVENUE

with  a  dramatic,  swooning  sigh,  beatriz  throws  herself  onto  her  bed  and  lets  herself  bounce  off  of  her  many  pillows.  rolling  swiftly  onto  her  stomach,  legs  kick  in  the  air  as  her  chin  rests  in  her  hands.  there's  a  dreamy  smile  on  her  face,  knowing  she's  keeping  the  girls  in  suspense  as  she  plays  out  her  moment.  “ladies,”  she  begins,  looking  at  each  of  them  individually.  “i  have  something  REALLY  important  to  tell  you,”  the  necklace  is  weighing  on  her  chest  like  a  million  pounds,  instinctively  reaching  for  it.  “i'm  BETHROTHED  !!”

he's somehow roped his new roommates into helping him lug equipment. finds himself increasingly irritated by the fact he doesn't actually hate being around them. in his silence, he finds himself constantly looking over his shoulder, scanning the crowd for his sisters face. doesn't feel right that she's not here with him. hole in his chest feels like it's getting bigger with each day that passes without them talking. but thoughts are soon interrupted by a grating sound that diverts his attention to the stage. " jesus christ— " there's noah and wes, sickeningly sweet in their own bubble, making his ears bleed. his gaze casts towards todd and winston. " you remember when i asked if there was any chance of you two getting it on ? " he points over his shoulder. " that's my old roommates. " figures that alone will explain why he moved out.

"i actually think this book isn't as boring as people are saying it is online." danny starts, pouring himself another mug of tea from the tea pot. he tips it in nora's direction in a silent question if she wanted her topped up. this week it was some random jasmine and rose tea danny found in the store, paired with leftover baked goods from the bakery. "i get that people expected more from the summary, but so far its been pretty good on setting up the characters." he's on about hooked asako yuzuki, and despite only being around 50 pages in, he still hasn't put the book down.

"Please tell me you see hair rollers over there.." Ivy laughed as she stepped past in the aisle, her eyes scanning every item on the shelves.

LOCATION:  nate's  apartment  (  @fcreverlasting  )

she  feels  like  she's  FLOATING  as  she  makes  her  way  to  nate's  front  door,  new  years  eve  flashing  in  her  mind.  in  classic  theodora  style,  she's  given  him  no  notice  that  she  was  coming,  but  surely  he'd  be  happy  to  see  her,  wouldn't  he  ?  she  sure  hopes  so  as  she  raises  her  hand  to  knock  on  his  door.

as  the  minutes  approach  midnight,  theodora  is  more  than  happy  to  see  what  the  universe  wants  her  to  do.  life  had  been  so  confusing  lately,  and  she  refused  to  go  into  the  new  year  angry.  surely  her  path  would  be  clear  to  her  soon.  she  stops,  closes  her  eyes,  and  takes  a  deep  breath.  when  she  reopens  them,  they  land  on  none  other  than  NATE  FLETCHER.  relief  floods  her  body  as  she  heads  his  direction,  wrapping  her  arms  around  him  the  second  she  gets  close  enough.  “oh  my  god  !!”  she  squeals,  pulling  away  and  taking  his  hands  in  hers.  “me  finding  you  just  a  couple  minutes  before  midnight  …”  she  leans  in.  “do  you  know  what  that  means  ?!”  a  beat,  but  not  one  long  enough  for  him  to  answer.  “the  universe  wants  us  to  ring  in  the  new  year  together  !!”
