Frozen 2 Will Be The Death of Cinema Employees
I've worked at an AMC movie theatre for the past year or so.
I've seen the insanity that comes along with every marvel and avengers movie, I barely survived lion king week, but I am nowhere near being able to emotionally handle this November when disney lesbians on ice comes out.
If yall dont hear from me by December 1st, please contact your local Industrial Workers of the World union.
Remember to send up some goodwill to autistic cinema workers this weekend
Manager: can you come help serve? There's a massive queue.
Me, on my break, sipping my diet coke aka my lunch because I can't afford anything else due to piss poor pay: My dude that's kinda not my problem for another whole 8 minutes
This is satisfying, angering (is that the right word?) and adrenaline-pumping

★ Cut out by coronavirus pandemic, film industry daily wagers find heroes in top stars
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the plight of those in the lowest rung of the world’s largest film industry moved those at the very top, and soon stars from across small and big screen were doing their bit to help everyone affected, from hairdressers to background dancers, make-up artistes and light men.
June 15, 2020 One of the first to help the daily-wage earners was superstar Salman Khan. After a call for help from the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), Khan sought a count of those affected in the association. “We told him there were 25,000 such artistes,” president B N Tiwari had told indianexpress.com.
By April, those in this list had started getting the help promised. “There’s not a single one who hasn’t got the Rs 3,000 in their account,” says background dancer Qurnaliya about her 850-member Cine Dancers Association. Janet Nazareth, who had been struggling with no savings to see her through the lockdown, remembers how the money was deposited in her account directly from Khan’s SK Films. Excerpt from news
Im sitting in our loby and there are a couple of boys, like ten year olds, amd theyre super excited about the new star wars movie. And theyre just super sweet, cuddling each other and kissing each other on the cheek and im just like... Yes. Yes, raise your boys like that. Let your boys be sweet with their friends, let them just be human. Dont push youre toxic manly man expectations on them. Theyre just so pure and sweet and i love it
