kay so litte rant and also a question, i have like 3 (straight) people that i'm out (as bi) to and they're all cool and shit, but i just wanna ask ya'll if any of you experience the same thing, like

where a (straight/cis) person you are out to is sending you posts/tiktoks or shit that has to do w being queer but the posts are just that specific type of ✨lgbtq+ content✨ like that r kinda a few years back in the queer discourse or shit you heard like a thousand times or straight ppl showing support or just some shit,

like one of my friends sends me (relatively regularily) tiktoks like that, one recently for example was of like a straight, cis woman saying shit like "i know sexuality is not a choice bc if it were i would never be attracted to men" and i know she means well and i dont really wanna start a convo w like why i dont like this kinda perspective bc for example w this specific example, while well meant (and shitting on men is one of my fave pasttimes bc the patriarchy sucks) it centers straight women in a lgbtq+ topic and simutaneously disregards bisexuals, pansexuals, gay men etc and their sexuality like its something to be disgusted off - like if a queer person makes the same joke, thats okay for me, but as soon as a straight person does it i'm like... pls dont use our opression to make jokes as your content

or like this content that is very easily digestible for a cishet audience i dont wanna elaborate bc this is already a too long post and bc if you know you know lol

and in general it just shows how cishet people will probably never understand the nuances of what it means to be queer
