They're on a neverending quest to collect the sacred CD discs
As an update to their designs, Hoodie Heather is back and RJ doesn't look like a generic 2000s Dreamworks protagonist anymore (but he can still hella dreamworks face)
A lot has changed since I first drew them in 2020
To be clear, this is not the movie's RJ and Heather anymore. This is my RJ and Heather. Consider this to be what they definitively, absolutely look like in my canon going forward (until I inevitably change it).
How are they different from the movie? For one, they're inseparable. RJ being the only one with an age close to Heather's who isn't Hammy, she relates to RJ and has naturally become something of a raccoon admirer. Consider it an identity crisis.
My version of RJ is based on the fact that the movie's narrative between the "old blood" Verne and the "young blood" RJ makes the most sense if RJ actually is young. So like, only recently coming of age by the time of the movie. He's still the eldest of the young group (the porcupine kids, Heather, and Hammy), but he's nowhere in the realm of the older adults like Stella, Ozzie, and Verne. The movie was about him finding out who he wants to be after growing up and being on his own, and my story will continue this by bringing Heather into the picture.
My stance on shipping them has changed a lot as well, because I hardly do it anymore. I know my fanfic was supposed to be an RJ x Heather story in this version of the canon, and it still kinda is, but you might be surprised by the direction they take in Episode 2.
Fredbear & Spring Bonnie - The End
Well, I made it. I made what I couldn't 8 years ago
I call them the end, but they were the beginning. The only pair of characters who have EVER come close to how much these two were a part of my life were RJ and Heather. In 5 years, I've made it full circle and I've yet to DRAW a single thing (because, y'know, vector graphics)
This kind of Fredbear and Spring Bonnie is just about lost to time. It used to be everywhere. In one way, though, they'll last forever. They make a bit of a resurgence every time people rediscover fnaf world
I miss the post-fnaf-world days when people drew Spring Bonnie with curly hair. And when Fredbear was like the apex character in the fnaf lore
Fredbear is STILL engrained into my identity in a way no other character is. He was my entire middle school persona because I thought I was just like him or something
As I said in an earlier post, my original internet name was FredtheTed
2015 ahh FNAF post
I've always found the story really bizarre that Mangle exists because Foxy was too scary for kids so they redesigned him to be so cute to the point that toddlers were ripping his/her entire endoskeleton apart
It made sense when FNAF was first a story about a negligent company and made even more sense when dream theory became a thing and now what's left is kinda ridiculous
As much as I would've loved to draw Mangle AKA the house dog of the FNAF cast, I picked Toy Foxy. Why? Because furry quota
Fun Fact: You can call me a furry artist all you want but this is the ONLY truly anthro character I've ever made in 5 years
Fnaf 2 easily has the best animatronic cast
The Fnaf 1 location feels like a dystopian Chuck E Cheese parody while the Fnaf 2 location feels like it could be a real place. Also the juxtaposition between the toys and withereds is obviously great. Really feels like two bands of characters fighting to see who can kill the night guard first except they're all giant bumbling idiots
Too bad the actual gameplay sucks
A Fair Share
Have you guys missed Liberty
Yeah well I had this half-finished throughout last school year and I couldn't find a layout to the scene I liked but I felt like I put too much time into it to drop it completely so a few weeks ago I actually used my brain and retooled it into something better
Pretty impressive that I convinced myself to salvage it
The layout and framing and movement of the picture ended up being very well constructed.
Check this out, it's the golden spiral
Ain't that cool?
Part Two
Handdrawing (let alone handdrawing humans) is beyond my specialty but I thought I'd give it a whirl once again
Happy Late Valentine's Day
My hands hurt so it took an extra month
Skye (OC)
This is gonna be a big summer. Stay tuned
Skye is a pure cardinal diva. She and Rufus meet under some *unforeseen* circumstances in the very VERY far future from where I'm at in the fanfic right now... From the looks of things, they're getting along a little too well.
I have such an obsession with drawing characters with 'masks'.
Also yeah, unfortunately, many of the new characters I have in mind to design are characters that aren't entering my fanfic for quite a while (like, maybe even a few years). I'm trying to get back into writing because I'm REALLY behind with all the fanfic stuff.
This is the first pure OC I've drawn in a VERY long time. The fact that I got this done in just a day making a character purely from scratch is a sign of good things to come. I don't wanna say too much about Skye herself because she doesn't come into the story until one of the last couple episodes. She is a fairly important character, though.
I'm sure my productivity will burn out once the summer heat comes but I wanna dream
