On a side note, for the past few weeks or so, I've been wondering why your posts haven't been showing up on my feed, and then I realized that Tumblr betrayed me and made me accidentally unfollow you??? So just wanted to clear up that I did not do that intentionally 😭
Anyhoo, I've actually been meaning to send you an ask lately about your characters and stuff, and I saw your post about Eternal! Love his design btw, and I was wondering if you would be able to share any lore about him, if you're willing of course lol.

You’re all good haha, websites can be glitchy sometimes. Glad to have you following me again lol!
Now….about Eternal. He is actually an oc me my friends @mak-layne-yt and Hylian Hoonter came up with because we wanted to find a way to bring our MCs together, since….circumstances would keep them from wanting to all meet up. He’s actually part of the reason why they befriend each other later on, though that certainly was not his intention.
I’m gonna be honest, there’s still a lot we need to work on with him. I just recently started to really flesh out his backstory but I’m not entirely sold on it yet so here’s some stuff I’m certain on for now:
-he is an ancient being born with no purpose to fulfill so he chose to make his own, ruling over a world he condemned to a state of half dead
-can see into the depths of one’s mind (this includes being able to read minds/enter dreams) and know their darkest secrets; can control minds post manipulation but struggles to control the strong willed, has to spend more time breaking them down psychologically than the passive minded
-he cannot die by age or anything that weakens the body (diseases, etc.), but can die by other means
-has ultimate control over the natives of the realm he claimed, he took over the beasts of this realm easily and forced those who had sentience under his control by torturing them with their worst memories until they pleaded for relief; once doing so he reduced them to mere husks stuck in a state of being half alive that obeyed his every command
-he captured Claira, Kaidan and Nova (the MCs) and brought them to his dystopian realm, where he slowly manipulated them into fighting verbally and eventually getting downright violent with each other. He was trying to control them because he knew his ambitions to take over outer realms would get their attention, and they’d ultimately try to stop him. But Eternal saw something he could use after prying through their memories—they all really, really did not like each other at the time. So he used that and all of their worst traumas to torment them as they stumbled through his maze and coaxed them to tear each other apart in whispers until they at last gave in, which ultimately led to a bad fight between Claira and Kaidan. A lot happened but let’s just say that it was so gruesome that Claira’s self induced amnesia kicked in and she forgot about what happened between them. But that’s a story for another day.
Any art concepts I make that have any form of yellow and green (specifically threads) are evidence that he is there behind the scenes, subtly setting things in motion. His plan nearly worked, but like most villains, he was eventually caught and defeated by the MCs.
