Yes, apparently everything does….
Make sure you've got a good grip.
I don't think it's about Harry Potter itself, just everything that's been going on with its author
I think that’s irrelevant to enjoying the content?
I mostly read classical literature, listen to classical music and only really enjoy older art. I don’t exclude art because others don’t agree with the personal opinion of the long dead creators.
On the other hand I’m a bit of a loner and I am ignorant on celebrity culture, it seems every week someone famous/popular says the wrong thing and I couldn’t keep up if I wanted to. I have no idea why JKR is considered irrevocably evil and I have little desire to check 🤷🏼♀️
Hello, my name is Jessica and I am a mezzo(ish) soprano trying to share her voice into the world with anyone who wants to listen. Hope you enjoy some of my videos!
Hi y’all! I have a YouTube channel with some videos of myself singing. I would appreciate it if you take look and share it around! Thank you!
Musicians Please Respond
So I used to be OBSESSED with practicing. Like I could not and would not miss a day. But now.. I just don’t really care? I’ve lost all motivation for my craft, which makes me really sad because I love to play. I just have no drive to pick up my horn for more than 20 minutes, when I used to practice for an hour. For a while I was working 20-30 hours a week so I was exhausted and didn’t have a ton of time, but that is no longer the case. i assign myself a piece to work on, but I don’t really have any goals. Has anyone felt like this, and can they help me?
Audition Advice needed!
Hi all my theatre-y friends. I need some help with something.
So, I'm going to be auditioning for the role of La Cienega in Bring it On the Musical with a really highly thought of amateur company in my area next month, but I need help finding something to sing.
I'm tenor, more comfortable in my lower register (Think: Proud of Your Boy from Aladdin), and I need something from a show similar to Bring It On.
The director has labelled the following shows that he thinks could be a good place to start to look: Bare: A Pop Opera, Heathers, Mean Girls, Legally Blonde.
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you!
Ginta, has your classical training ever been especially useful on a mission, outside of, admittedly fantastic, haikus?
Ginta: Why thank you, I’m delighted you like my haiku. I’m not entirely sure which parts of my classical education you mean, but I’ve been undercover at formal dinners where it was important I had decent manners. Oh, and I played the poetry card game with the Frost daimyou’s son and some court attendants. That was fun. And there was the tea ceremony with the magisterial council of — well, it’s better for you if I don’t tell you where.
Since you like my haiku, though, let me leave you with one.
