Quick Claudenette Reminder ….

Claude and Annette’s dynamic is mentioned not once but TWICE in other games/spin-off material, specifically Claude showing attention to detail when it comes Annette and her singing. Which is quite noteworthy when you take into account that she is an out of house support for him 👀!! (Fuel for my “Claude has the BIGGEST crush on Annette during the Academy” propaganda)

hi, I wasn’t sure if you had done this pairing before, but I’m curious how Soraya and Baldr would be as siblings, if you haven’t already done it. Sorry if I’m bothering you, since I know you have a lot of asks.

💛House Riegan (Claugrid Edition)💚

Been a while since I posted about our moody hunter boy Baldr. In a post I made a while ago, I had determined Sora and Baldr would have a hard time getting along. Let's see if it gets better if they are siblings.

"Oh, baby brother. What am I to do with you?"

Baldr is likely the first of Soraya's "many siblings" to come after her, resulting in a 3 year age difference between them. A cute little brother with a perma-scowl on his face? Adorable! Oh, she could just pinch those chubby cheeks and squeeze him tight! But, of course, Baldr would just squirm out of her arms and insist on being left alone.

And she'd leave him be... for a time.

As they'd get older, Soraya's lifestyle would conflict more and more with Baldr's. She loved the crowds, the dancing, the feasts, and the music. Baldr preferred... pretty much the opposite. He never much liked dancing by default and crowds were a hassle to deal with, especially crowds of people who want to know what the young prince has been getting up to - or the seemingly endless comments about his looks and their single daughters who might appreciate them. How annoying.

Soraya, for her part, would try to include him in her life as much as she can at first, and when he pushes back, she would back off. But not entirely. After all, they are family. Besides, what does her cute little brother get up to when he leaves the party early? Where does he go when the feasts are at their peak? More important than that, would he be okay wandering around outside the palace walls without anyone knowing, where there is a greater risk of harm coming to him? As the oldest, it is her job to look after him.

Somehow, some way, she would always find out where he's gone. It would only irritate Baldr when he'd finally discovered her sneaking around nearby. Granted, she never interrupted his hunts; she was good at waiting until the very end to announce herself to him. At least he could appreciate that. He could not appreciate, however, her nose being in his business.

"If you're going to follow me everywhere, aabji, at least make yourself useful and pick up a bow." "Now, why would I do that when you are so good at it? Besides, you shoot different from me; I wouldn't want to ruin whatever you've got going on, azizam." "You being here is ruining it... but fine, whatever. Just don't get in the way." "Aw, so mean! I'm only looking out for my favourite brother, you know." "You say that to all our brothers." "But I mean it with you~." "Hmph..."

With age, Baldr would learn to mellow out a little bit more, feeling more comfortable coming to his sister about things. Concerns, mostly. Hunter's prowess would give him an insight into what a roaming predator would look like, and living in a palace where many come and go, knowing what danger looks like would prepare him to protect her - and himself, if need be. No one messes with his sister, no matter how annoying she tends to be.

Claude/Annette and Claude/Flayn?

Hope you don't mind that I added in an OT3 for this one.

Claude/Flayn: So, I honestly really like how Claude and Flayn play off each other. It's clear they both have a read on each other that no one else has, and I adore how naturally flirty it can feel.

But I NEED to know how they managed to hide their romance from Seteth. Screw the cheesy love story I need Mission Impossible: Don't Let Seteth Catch Us Edition.

Claude/Annette: Claude and Annette play off each other very well, and I like how we got some really good worldbuilding on top of fun song analysis. I'd love to see these two dissect epic poetry together.

Now, as for the OT3.....

Felix/Claude/Annette would be so much fun to witness.
