I'm very excited to see how Batty is going to manipulate Mel in UTKS's genocide route.

Note - If it's done well, Mel and Batty can be turned into AU versions of themselves to fit with UTY, but people usually do not do it well, and I can only put one finger up for one person I've seen get me interested.

Mind you, that is clearly what's going to happen. Hell it's one of the many reasons UTKS doesn't fit in with UTY. Let's look at their genocide sprites in the UTKS discord server:

Batty's face is stone-cold and emotionless, meanwhile Mel's is sad and guilty.

Mel clearly doesn't want to do this. Why WOULD SHE? She had no reason or motivations to do so. She lived with Toriel for the possibility of her entire fucking life, and she cares so much for the people around her.

Meanwhile, Batty has lived on the surface for 14 years of her life, and could have a way better motivation for wanting to eradicate monster-kind.

I REALLY don't get why people decide to take Mel, the literal seven year old, and turn her into a genocidal maniac when there's no motivation for it in UTKS' story, and it honestly just feels like character eradication instead of simply mischaracterization.
