Short comic, while I work on something bigger on the side. It is nevertheless a very important topic. A lot of seabirds die because they eat plastic. They feed their chicks with the waste. It's really tragic.

A graphic showing the Australian bushfires compared to other great fires around the world. As you can see, the worst fire in the history of the US (the Peshtigo fire) doesn't even compare to what is happening now.
Sorry to bother you, but it's 112 months until the climate crisis is irreversible
AMAZON FOREST PSA
listen you don't even know what kind of devastating effect the burning of the Amazonian forest is going to have:
Forests are not helping to combat CO2 the way you think they are: Let me explain
Everybody seems to think that because trees produce oxygen, the amount of oxygen is working against the amount of carbon dioxide in the air and thus, saving us from climate change => we need to plant more trees!
This isn't really why. (Ofc you should still plant trees)
The rain forest or forests in general aren't the best at combatting climate change. They're not even the most efficient. (Seaweed is!)
But trees bind CO2. They use it to grow. Trees are literally made out of carbon dioxide.
If you cut down ancient trees, you're setting free a huge amount of CO2 that is directly responsible for climate change!!!
Do something. Stop this disaster. We won't have time till 2030 if nobody does anything against this.
The eruption of Mount Etna in Sicily On Friday, February 19, Mount Etna made its third significant eruption in a few days. Volcanic activity was accompanied by a strong ash ejection, which rose to a height of 10 km. Due to the tall ash column, the color code for aviation has been upgraded to “red”. From time to time lava fountains appeared in the craters on the summit. Ashfalls were observed in villages southeast of the volcano. Another lava splash has occurred. A stream of molten rock descended from the eastern side of the mountain, heading towards the Valle del Bove Basin. #etna #eruption #anomaly #newrecord #volcanoes #bigisland #sicily #allatra #allatraunites #allatratv #creativesociety #2021eruption #thetruth #climatetruth #climateaction #climatereality #climateactionnow #interesting #italyfacts #italyweather #italyclimate #island #islandsclimateaffect #climatechangeconsequences #climatechange #nature #sustainability #globalwarming #savetheplanet #climate (at Sicilia, Italy) https://www.instagram.com/p/CLnTM7MAhn4/?igshid=j9zsq8uqpgv6
