I just saw some dude on the street harrassing two identical people thinking one was a clone calling them tank babies and half-lifes and one of them leaned close and shouted back "We're twins you idiot". Just goes to show that no you cannot just clock clones and if you think you can then you're a bigot.

I’m super glad this episode answered the AFAIK unasked but — I now realize — crucial question of “how is waste dealt with if there is no bathroom?” but I also feel like if David 7 is such an unusually gooey boy, Trexel should hose him down or something. Responsible people with bio facsimile assistants would probably let them run through a garden sprinkler or something every now and again.

don't cancel me but I don't think giving clones the rights to be placed in the National Draft Lottery is the progressive statement you think it is.

I'm the first person to demand that clones deserve to be treated equally but it doesn't escape me that military would rather send out womborns out to the Rift and die in the marshes and replace their corpse with a clone as a bargaining chip to grieving families.

Clones are expensive and they take time to make and it says more about how our military would rather throw womborns into the nexus grinder for cost efficiency than about how clones have "special amnesty privileges." Like grow up.

I was just informed that the word "womborn" is actually problematic in the clone community as it has recently been used more heavily in certain Neosphere neurowave spaces. Aparently, it's a huge bioprimary dogwhistle used to argue that the only legally recognized humans are those who come from wombs. Actual members of the clone community prefer the term "viviparous" when it comes to non-clone individuals. What clones refer to themselves as is identity based on a person to person basis, and it's not my place to decide how they define their creation experience even if they all came from the same 6 global factories. I'm sorry for my mistake and I will do better as an ally in the future so please forgive my ignorance because I'm growing.

Ugh, my boss just got a clone 🙄 the poor guy's still got that new clone glaze going on, and he just keeps ordering the guy around like once he hits his two month mark he's gonna think this shit is normal it's giving the whole office a weird vibe 😑
