Steve + Nail Bat

What’s great about the nail bat is that it has none of the power of Thor’s Hammer or Captain America’s shield but more story. It’s Nancy’s bat, Jonathan put the nails in it, and Steve picked it up the first time he was a hero. It’s the weapon that’s protected two generations from two monsters. And most magically, it carries the same significance to the characters as the audience, we know what it means when it shows up.

The part where the amazons close the gate in Justice League literally destroyed me. Those last two women were crushed to death, every woman in that cavern died, and it was only to buy them, I shit you not, less than a minute.

Find me a group more dedicated and coordinated than the amazons. I'll wait.
