SO excited that @cloudyasometimes book just arrived that I finally reset my Tumblr password just to post this! I can't wait to start it!

How old is he now? In my head he’s still B’s age now, which I know is impossible.
I miss him being small enough to carry up to bed when he fell asleep on the couch. But he’s 15! He’s a high school freshman. Straight A’s, with honors and AP classes. I’m proud as hell.

Yesterday I took my first yoga class ever. There’s a place that opened in town a while back and I’ve wanted to try it. They also offer barre and aerial classes. I follow cloudyasometimes and her barre/aerial/hoop adventures have long intrigued me. And let’s face it - with the in-laws living with us, I need to get out of house.
So Monday, I finally went in and just said “What do I sign up for first?” The girl suggested a class that is geared for older people who have never done any yoga. (She also suggested Aerial Skills, but I didn’t think that I was ready for that.)
I never thought yoga was easy and I’m definitely out of shape, but wow. I’m glad I didn’t start with a different class because this was tough but still doable and fun. And the “older adults” part meant there were a few couples much older than me and they told me after they’d been coming for a year and really love it. I already signed up for next week’s class and a beginner Pilates class the Friday after Thanksgiving. (There’s one tonight and I might go if I finish with my daughter’s conferences in time.)
I’m definitely not a gym person, but this feels like something I could get into.
Hey look what I got in the email today! It’s Amazon promoting Cloudyasometimes! Way to go. Wo0t!
They send these out periodically. I was hoping they would do one for a famous author I know.
Follow Claudia Recinos Seldeen and explore their bibliography from Amazon.com's Claudia Recinos Seldeen Author Page.
ETA: I’m such a dork. I forgot to include the screenshot of the email. 🤦♂️

I think I’m the only person who still utilizes my iTunes shuffle. I have it on all the damn time. I’M OLD.

I’m not really participating in this blog a day for the month but I noticed today is a post from my drafts. This is back from 12/20/2017, during one of my Colin Firth binge sessions. These are screen caps I took from the movie Hope Springs which is the first movie I saw where he was a lead. I’m pretty sure I watched it on cable in the early 2000s when I was living in Michigan. This movie is so cheesy but I love it. It started my love for Colin Firth
