Today was my self care evening and now I reek of coconut. Therefore I became a coconut.

Orange Mint Lotion- A Luck Spell

(makes about a cup)

Ever wanted super nourishing lotion that is also magic and makes you smell like oranges? Well here it is! (Protip: this is great when combined with swampseer‘s "It puts the lotion on its skin” spell   )

Supplies:

An electric mixer (of some sort)

A small-ish well sealed container (I used an old candle jar)

Orange peel

Mint

Green tea (1 bag)

Aloe Vera (1 tbsp)

Honey (1 tbsp)

Coconut oil (4 oz)

Light Olive oil (2 oz)

Note- Be sure to charge anything you want to charge before starting!

Melt and mix the oils together in a small pot. Let it rest on low heat and put in the solid ingredients (which should be large enough to strain out later). Let them infuse in the oil for 5-10 minutes or longer, as long as they don’t start to fry. Once that’s done, strain your oil and put it back into the pot. Again on low heat, add the Honey and Aloe. Stir clockwise and chant:

“As I stir, 

The Ingredients unite.

For properties to join,

and gain in might.

To have luck, 

to gain energy,

with control of a clear mind.

With the help of the natural world,

So mote it be.”

Say this and stir until you are satisfied. Continue stir until the Aloe and Honey have melted. Pour it into a medium sized mixing bowl and put it in the freezer. When the edges of the oil turn white, take it and mix it until whipped.

Put it into your sealable container and enjoy. 

Protip: I wouldn't use this oil at night, as it supposed to give you energy and my sleep definitely got more fitful when I did.

Note- Because it has no preservatives, it doesn’t have a long shelf life. Storing it in a cold, dark area helps and if you have vitamin e oil that would help as well.
